Newsletter Specialist

We are looking for a Newsletter Specialist who will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships and increasing purchase frequency through impactful, data-driven email marketing.
You will work closely with local finnish HQ-Team, Digital, marketing operations, and creative teams to ensure consistent, relevant and high-performing communication across all customer touchpoints.

About the role
As our Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and optimizing newsletters and lifecycle communication that support commercial priorities and enhance customer engagement. You will combine creativity with analytical thinking to continuously improve performance and deliver measurable results.
Key responsibilities
Plan, build and execute engaging newsletter and lifecycle campaigns that drive sales and customer loyalty
Define, refine, and optimize customer segments to ensure relevant and personalized communication
Analyze campaign performance, identify insights, and implement improvements to increase engagement and conversion rates
Collaborate with digital, marketing operations, commercial, and creative teams to ensure brand alignment and commercial relevance
Ensure high-quality execution, deliverability, and consistency across all email campaigns
Stay updated on email marketing trends, tools, and best practices, and apply new learnings proactively
Translate campaign messages and content into the local language when needed
Qualifications
Strong performance in current role in XXL with an interest in developing skills within marketing coupled with a commercial mindset
Or
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in digital or CRM-focused roles
Hands-on experience planning, executing, and analyzing email marketing campaigns
Skills & Competencies
Solid understanding of retail and eCommerce business drivers
Experience with Voyado or similar CRM platforms is an advantage
Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI is a plus
Fluent in both English and Finnish, written and spoken
Personal Qualities
Genuine interest in sales, email marketing and customer communication
Structured, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
Clear and confident communicator
Proactive, solution-oriented, and takes ownership of results
Collaborative team player who enjoys cross-functional work
